WHAT IS SCOTLAND BEYOND NET ZERO?
As Scotland’s universities, we are acutely aware of the need to combine our strengths to address the major challenges facing the nation. The climate emergency is the greatest existential crisis facing the world and both of our institutions have made significant commitments in recent years to support Scotland’s drive to net zero. We believe that working together will help drive results. ‘Scotland Beyond Net Zero’ is a coalition designed to catalyse research collaboration, empower our communities and inform the policymaking and action Scotland needs to reach its ambitious targets.
