WE ARE A COLLABORATION OF CLIMATE AND SUSTAINABILITY EXPERTS FROM SCOTLAND’S UNIVERSITIES.

Together we are mobilising research, data and innovation to accelerate Scotland’s transition to Beyond Net Zero. We believe that working together will help drive results. ‘Scotland Beyond Net Zero’ is a coalition designed to catalyse research collaboration, empower our communities and inform the policymaking and action Scotland needs to reach its ambitious targets.

Through this partnership we will support and connect existing networks and initiatives, while stimulating new activities and endeavours. In time, we intend for this collaboration to grow, to create opportunities for academic institutions and partners from across Scotland’s sectors to work with us, and to become an exemplar of best practice internationally.

Our Makeup

Scotland’s universities have come together, working with our local partners and with the Scottish Government to address key challenges associated with the climate emergency, including clean energy, storage, decarbonisation, green transport, community empowerment and climate justice.
