Welcome to the Scotland Beyond Net Zero toolkit. This toolkit is primarily intended to help academics and research professionals explain and enhance the contribution their research makes to knowledge and innovation in environmental sustainability and climate change.
Research will play a key role in helping us meet the challenges of climate change and the uncertain economic, societal, and environmental shifts that will come with it. As a result, research funders are not only asking researchers to adopt sustainable research practice, funders are also encouraging researchers to use multiple approaches on climate change and sustainability, inspired by diverse perspectives.1
Should you decide to use the toolkit in developing a research application, we would be grateful if you would let us know by emailing sbnz@ed.ac.uk. This will help us monitor its usefulness to the research community.
